A Cappella
Searching for a cool and vibrant bar in Dubai? This award-winning spot was created by the minds behind Tresind and Carnival by Tresind. Kick back and soak up the views out towards Atlantis The Palm, while tucking into a varied menu featuring dishes from the US, UK, India, Italy, China, Mexico, Spain, Japan and the Middle East.

Café Artois
Take it outside this winter at this this awesome outdoor bar located along the side of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. An extension of sports bar, Bridgewater Tavern, Café Artois attracts a similar crowd – the only difference being that kids are welcome. The al fresco bar has a stage for live music, but it’s the views over Dubai Water Canal that sell this place. When it comes to drinks, hops are mostly Belgian and there is grape on tap. A selection of bottled craft hops are also on offer, while food includes light bites such as burgers, wings and salads. A favourite has to be the dynamite shrimp and fat truffle fries – don’t get so distracted by the view that you forget to order these.

Estrellas Skyline Lounge
Looking for stunning Dubai skyline views coupled with good happy hour deals? Rooftop bar, Estrella, serves up amazing views of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay as well as a pool, ladies’ night and even a glass floor for those brave enough to look down. In a city that has its fair share of rooftop bars, this is a firm favourite. The extensive menu houses an extensive selection of light bites and main meals ranging from bar snacks to curries, pizza and steaks.

Luna Sky Bar
If it’s views you’re after, you’ll be hard-pressed to find better than of Dubai’s most iconic building. The Burj Khalifa provides the backdrop at this low-lit, stunning terrace at the Four Seasons Hotel DIFC that is perfect for a date night list or chilled night out with the girls. Food options are aplenty and you won’t go wrong with the Asian-inspired options such as the duck confit bao bun or the wasabi salmon.

Mercury Lounge
Goodbye scorching summer temps and hello Dubai winter and al fresco evenings. Rooftop bar, Mercury Lounge at Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach, is a good spot to enjoy the cooler weather and has some of the most impressive views in Dubai – we’re talking a near 180-degree vista of Business Bay and Downtown Dubai up to Deira and old Dubai, Burj Khalifa included. The French Riviera-themed bar serves up some tasty food as well, the must-tries being its signature lobster spaghetti and the veal Milanese with crispy potatoes.

NEOS
Impress out-of-town guests and whisk them up to the 63rd floor of Address Downtown Hotel. This uber-cool spot overlooks Downtown Dubai, Burj Khaifa and The Dubai Fountain. Neos also offers a decent happy hour list with 50 percent off a selection of beverages that include grape, sparkling, hops and mixed drinks. Food-wise, pick from the Neo’s bites section on the menu and tuck into vegetable samosas or the bar’s popular Maine lobster roll.

Paros
This rooftop bar and eatery is perched next to the pool on the 46th floor of the Taj Hotel in JLT. Oozing boho vibes the bar offers uninterrupted views of JBR, Dubai Marina, Ain Dubai and Emirates Golf Club thanks to high glass walls. You can also catch a glimpse of Burj Khalifa in the distance while the DJ plays mellow sounds to accompany your sundowner. This party spot in Dubai’s Business Bay serves up a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian food including cheese croquettes, crunchy chilli cheese and calamari. The spot offers gorgeous views over the Dubai Water Canal, plus both the windows and the roof retract exposing you to the glorious winter weather. Looking for some weekend fun?
