Bistro des Arts

“A bargain? But that breakfast clocks in at over Dhs100!”, we hear you cry. “Ah, but just listen to what you’ll get for that”, we reply. A grazing buffet start – unlimited pastries, a selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, cereal, charcuterie and French bread – followed by a main course (we like the eggs benedict), a sweet crepe to finish and hot drinks on tap, that’s what. Oh, and there’s a pretty outdoor terrace, Marina views and cosy ambience, too.

This budget-friendly weekend offer will set you up for the day. Circle’s breakfast menu is a sizable one, with 25-plus options ranging from Bombay eggs and fruit bowls to a hunger-busting full English, toasted sourdough with peanut butter and banana, scrambled tofu, pancakes and more. Book in advance and you can enjoy unlimited dishes and a cup of tea or coffee for Dhs65 and just Dhs35 for kids.

Dunkin’ tells us that we “deserve to breakfast like a boss” and with prices like this, we can. Hand over a Dhs20 and you’ll receive a coffee, your choice of egg sandwich, egg bun, cream cheese bagel, egg bagel or muffin, and a chocolate-covered donut, as well as Dhs5 in change. Alternatively, for an extra four dirhams, you can replace you Dunkin’ Original Coffee with an iced latte, cappuccino or latte. Can’t argue with that.
