Here are seven top reasons to head down sharpish.

There’s a spooky Halloween party on the cards

Join a screamin’ fun night of terrors and frights this Halloween at Belgian Café. Resident DJ Gaby Gazal will play nostalgic hits from the ’80s and ’90s while you wolf down a two-course twisted dinner featuring a special dark braised Flemish meat pie together with a creepy dessert served with your choice of one selected hops, house pouring drink or house grape.
Dhs149 (per person). Thu Oct 28 to Sun Oct31, 8pm-11pm.

Half-price drinks every day

Enjoy a good 50 percent off draught and bottled hops, and other house beverages. With vintage vibes and the deal running for four hours every day, it doesn’t get happier than this.
Saturday-Wednesday 4pm-8pm and Thursday 2pm-8pm.

There’s weekly Belgian brunch

Did we hear Belgian Café say ‘all you can eat’? That’s right, a lavish Belgian-style brunch with three hours of live entertainments. Sounds like Fridays done right. Tuck into cold cuts and cheese, chicken wings, bitterballen, calamari and cheese croquets. And those are just the starters. Main courses include beef tenderloin, grilled salmon and grilled chicken breast. Irresistible desserts follow so leave some room.
Dhs195 (soft drinks), Dhs295 (house beverages). Fri 1pm-4pm.

And a Friday Drunch to follow it up with

Great music, food, drinks and live music. What else are you calling for on a Friday night? Join in on the fun at Belgian Café.
Dhs299 (house beverages). Every Friday in November, 7pm-10pm.

They’re mad for mussels twice a week

Happiness is a generous serving of mussels with two beverages of choice. That’s Sunday and Tuesday nights sorted for us – and you. Get your steaming pots in your preferred flavour, and dig straight in.
Dhs215 (mussels and two beverages). Sun and Tue, 6pm-1am.

And on Wednesdays, we eat meat

Craving a meaty bite? Belgian Café has our vote for one of the best-value steak deals in town. Get a 250g Australian tenderloin with two hops or house grape, along with fries, salad and your choice of pepper, mushroom or demi-glace sauce.
Dhs215 per person. Wed 6pm-midnight.

Its business lunch isn’t just for business folk

Energy levels running low midday? Looking for a place with great food and ambience for a lovely lunch inside 60 minutes? Check out the dish-and-drink deal here, with dishes ranging from burrata salad to croque monsieur.
