Fun, food, music, dance, and acrobatics – it’s time to hit the beach
The cooling weather is calling us to hit the outdoors. If you are looking for some great fun in the open air, La Mer’s new block party is the place to be this weekend – and every weekend for the next three weeks.
Every Thursday to Saturday until November 12, an eclectic assortment of activities and performances will be taking place from noon until midnight at Dubai’s coolest beachfront hangout.
From stunning roaming performances, groovy live bands and DJs, to spectacular grand parades, there’s something for everyone.
In true block party style, entertainment at the La Mer-wide fiesta is split into three blocks.
La Mer Central is Block A, where you’ll find the main stage and entertainment including live DJ performances from DJ Kozy, DJ Lenngy and DJ Marzava throughout the weekend from Thursday to Saturday, through to November 12.
Meanwhile, South Beach (aka Block B) will host an atmospheric bonfire setting with a live saxophonist and chilled-out lounge seating, providing the perfect place to unwind after an action-packed day in the surf.
Finally, Block C at La Mer’s North Beach will be home to a fun-filled kids’ obstacle race and play area for the entire weekend, open from noon until 7pm. Want to separate your sprogs from their screens? This is the place to do it.
Roaming throughout the block party will be a wide range of performers, including talented acrobats showing-off their agility, balance, and coordination around the party blocks. While a head-turning headstand will also be a sight, you will be forced to stop in your tracks when a Cyr Wheel performance passes by.
A grand memorable parade will also march through the blocks as both adults and children gaze on in awe.
Be ready to roam around amidst the festive air on La Mer’s timber walkways, you never know what may surprise you on the way.
