The Japanese eatery shines bright from the moment you step inside, with bold interior designs by the avant-garde creative Mayuka Kojima that include exotic figurines and Tokyo scenes in frames. Perfect for a business lunch, or a social evening with friends, Kimuraya is a versatile spot with a welcoming atmosphere.
Kimuraya sticks close to its Japanese roots with an authentic izakaya-style menu of traditional and modern dishes. Sushi, for example, is made with lightly seasoned rice that’s never too salty or vinegary, a simple but important detail. The shabu shabu hotpot is a highlight of the menu, as is the yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) grilled wagyu. Paired with the restaurant’s impressive selection of super-premium Japanese rice beverages and grape, it’s a meal dripping with Japanese flair.
