Staple Lebanese eatery on Hessa Street extends its opening hours
Barbar, the popular Lebanese street food restaurant recently opened in Dubai, has extended its opening hours to 24 hours a day, seven days a week for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
Dubai foodies now have the opportunity to experience the authentic taste of Beirut any time of the day… and night!
Delighting customers for more than 40 years in Lebanon, Barbar started from a small bakery in Hamra Street, in the heart of the vibrant city. Famous for its mouthwatering shawarma and manakish, Barbar is also renowned for having never closed a single day since it opened its doors in 1979, even during the country’s periods of strife. Since those early days, Barbar has grown a large and loyal fan base, and today it is an iconic Lebanese eatery with an extensive menu selection including everything from shawarma, falafels, signature sandwiches like the Francisco and the Philadelphia, freshly baked manakish, juices, cocktails and much more. There’s something for everyone.
Over the years, Barbar has also become a staple in the late-night food scene. It is in fact famous for being the “after-party” food place for the Beirut party crowd who flock to its restaurants for late night nibbles.

With new, longer opening hours, Barbar will satisfy your appetite whatever the time of day (or night). These new timings will also apply to Barbar’s operations during the month of Ramadan.
What’s more, (and remember, you heard it here first) Barbar is opening a second restaurant soon in Business Bay, following the runaway success of its first branch on Hessa Street, which was the first outpost outside Lebanon where the brand was born. The new location will be unveiled soon.
