A variety of mouthwatering starters and main dishes prepared by Arabic chefs is concluded with traditional sweet treats from creme caramel to baklava. Iftar at Vida Emirates Hills is from sunset to 8.30pm and is priced at Dhs165 per person or Dhs145 per person for early birds.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Downtown Dubai with iftar at 3in1 in the Vida hotel on the boulevard. Here you’ll find an al fresco Iranian BBQ station serving a wide selection of cuisine from countries on the Silk Road including Persian kebabs, mezze, and sweets. Nearby is Manzil Downtown, which this Ramadan is serving iftar and suhour at its chilled Courtyard venue. Chefs here have prepared a live cooking set-up with a variety of Arabic cuisines such as lamb ouzi, BBQ grills, traditional hot and cold pastries and Arabic desserts. Served from sunset to 9pm, it’s Dhs220 per person for iftar while the a la carte suhour menu is available from 9pm to 1am.

Those wishing to get out of town for iftar this Ramadan could hit the road and head to Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain. This tranquil and contemporary resort has Arabic music accompanying its seafront iftar at Origins from sunset to 9pm that includes both an Arabic and international buffet plus a dessert station. Iftar at Origins is priced at Dhs160 per person or Dhs145 per person for the first week of Ramadan. The beachside suhour a la carte menu is served from 9pm to 12.30am with drinks available until 1am.
