This desert pop-up blew up TikTok last winter, and now the viral sensation is back. For its third edition, Not A Space returns to the Al Faya desert, inviting guests to enjoy drinks, snacks, live music and workshops, all in the breathtaking setting of the Sharjah desert.
You can find the exact location of Not A Space Al Faya here, and by car it will take you around an hour to drive from Dubai. You just need to take the E44 to E611 and head up E102.
Just like last season’s singularly cool, made-for-Insta hangout spot, Al Faya 3.0 is a pet friendly desert pop-up filled with cosy nooks surrounding the central coffee counter. Perch up on a bean bag, recline on a deck chair or grab a bar stool and keep warm with a freshly brewed coffee or piping cup of hot chocolate. You can also shop some cool Not A Space merch, and snap selfies at the mirrored wall.
There’s no reservations, so bagging the best seats is first, come first serve. To ensure everyone gets to enjoy a slice of Not A Space Al Faya this season they’ve extended their opening hours, with the pop-up welcoming guests from the earlier time of 4pm each day. Just imagine how incredible those sunsets will be.
After dark, Not A Space promises an array of live entertainment to satisfy the creative souls, from acoustic sets, DJs and saxophonists to laser and fire shows and folklore performances.
Not A Space is the third desert pop-up we’ve spotted in the UAE this season, although we’re expecting more to join their ranks in the coming weeks. Alongside Not A Space in Sharjah, a second option in Sharjah’s Al Madam area is My Space Coffee, new for the 2022/23 season. One Degree Cafe is also back, welcoming guests to enjoy the pretty desert setting at Musherief in Ajman.
