The world’s first Real Madrid theme park set to open in Dubai – What’s On

What better way to kick off the World Cup, than with this kind of news? The football club Real Madrid C.F have signed an exclusive multi-year partnership with Dubai Parks and Resorts that will see the two entities open the world’s first Real Madrid destination theme park.

Set to open in the Middle East’s largest theme park, Dubai Parks & Resorts, the theme park will celebrate the FIFA awarded Best Club of the 20th Century.

The new experience aims to engage football and sporting fans of all ages to immerse themselves into the culture of one of the worlds greatest football teams. Visitors will be able to enjoy audio-visual displays, interactive experiences, playable gaming interactions as well as unique attractions that are inspired by the spirit, passion and success that make Real Madrid the team that it is.

The theme park is set to open in Q4 of 2023 and designs are still being finalised. What we do know, is that it will include a range of Real Madrid inspired interactions such as a museum, rides, football skill games as well as unique retail options featuring memorabilia from across the clubs successful history.

Further details will be announced over the coming months which will include details about the signature rollercoasters, unique events and interactive sports and thrilling experiences that will all become a new part of the already incredible repertoire of Dubai Parks and Resorts.

If you’ve not already tested your adrenaline at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the theme park is home to more than 100 rides across four zones: Motiongate, Legoland, Legoland Waterpark and Bollywood Park Dubai. There’s even a trio of hotels to choose from if you want to stay as close as possible to the action, with a Legoland-themed hotel, budget friendly Rove at the Park and Polynesian-inspired Lapita.
